U15 League and Cup double winners

Kidderminster Lions Under 15 beat Droitwich Dragons in the League Cup Final at Kidderminster Harriers ground on Sunday to complete a league and cup double. Goals from Harry Dickens, Nick Pritchard, Ben Maund and Tyler Richards helped Lions win the cup again and complete another successful season.

Team Notes:
Kidderminster Lions FC have now been together since 2001 in under 8s. The team came through Kidderminster Lions early soccer school under the coaching of ex-kidderminster Harriers player John Powell. The boys have known each other since they were 5 years old and have been very successful winning the League and Cup over the years. The lads have finished in the top two spot every season throughout mini soccer and 11-a-side. They completed the double at under 12s and this season reached the Cup Final for the 3rd successive season. We also came runners up in the league and reached the County Cup Final. We have still managed to keep the same players who started out for us in the Under 8 section all those years ago which is a great achievement.

Training Night Changes - Tuesdays 7.00-8.00pm

We have moved our training night this season to a Tuesday on the Stourport High School all weather surface. This was a joint decision so we can all have our Friday nights free without rushing around as we have for the last 7 years.
