Jake Julian
Position(s): Defender
goals 1 Very solid central defender, thinks about his game. Jake has had a very good start to the season but picked up a calf injury which kept him out for 2 weeks but played very well against Youth. Coaching tip concentrate & stay focased on the game.
Jake had a solid game against Bewdley, showed some good ball play & concentrated all through the game.
Ferndale, Jake has built up a very good understanding with Sam & had a good solid game.
Cubs, a very important game & kept a clean sheet. Jake has a good understanding with Sam & even though Sam got man of the match, jake made a major contribution with a very good header when we were nearly caught on the break.Good solid game.

Arran Cordell
Position(s): Defender / Midfield
Goals 1 Arran is developing into a very good technical football player. He works very hard for the team & we have not seen the best of him yet!
Arran has taken to his new roll in the centre very well, solid tackling, good ball distribution & thinks about the game.
Ferndale, came up against the best midfield player we have played against 7, but arran was as good,little slow to start & lost his position at times but was up against a good player, good battle to watch. Tip box to box.
Arran ran the show against cubs, box to box & his passing was excellent.

James Davidson
Position(s): Goalkeeper
James is a new member to our squad, he has brought a new strength to the defence with some excellent saves. Tip not to cross his hands when catching the ball & to stay on the balls of his feet, not to become to static.
James was solid on Saturday, kicking very good.
Cubs, a little under the weather but james had a very good game, he has made a big difference to our defence.

Cameron Mathewson
Position(s): Midfield
Goals 5 Captain
Cameron is developing into a very good player who thinks about the game. He passes the ball & works very hard for the team.
Cameron delivered some excellent balls on Saturday, but dived in a couple of times when tackling, needs to stay on his feet. But well played.
Ferndale, Cam's tacking & strength was very good today & that is why man Of Match for me, because you passed well & had a solid game. One thing concentrate on the pitch not on the touch line.
Cubs, Cammy had a good game touch & go with Sam for man of the match. ball strike excellent & the tackle on the cubs centre forward half way thru the secound half made sure we got the pionts.

KIT
Position(s): Midfield
Kit has played 2 games as sub, difficult to make any judgements but what I have seen he is progressing & learns about the game well.
Ferndale Kit had a good run & distributed the ball well, still learning the way we play, but is improving each week. Well played Kit.
Cubs, the game was very tight & Kit did not have a chance to shine, sorry Kit.

Robert Garton

Robert has had a very good start to the season. Tip concentration & move / pass the ball earlier. Concentrate on his position as a central midfield player.
Rob had a new roll to play & did it very well with a goal.
Ferbdale thanks Rob for going in goal, you made some good saves.
Cubs, Robert ran his socks off & I lost count the amount of shots he had, a very good game, but we need to concentrate at training on finnishing but over all a great game.

Samuel Lucas
Position(s): Midfield / Defender
goals 1 Sam has had a good solid start. very quick & plays well where ever played. Tip needs to concentrate in training & his first touch.
Sam man of the match & deserved it. No mean thing with the players around him so well done Sam, you need to do it next week too!
Ferndale Sam & Jake are a solid force, Sam tackling is very strong & runs with the ball well. Just needs to work a little more on first touch. But well played Sam.
Cubs, man of the match. Sams strength is running with the ball & his vision in picking out the right pass. A great strike for the secound goal. well played.

Henrique Almedia

Henrique is very strong & did over 10 keep me up's very skillfull. Tip needs to cover more ground & concentrate when we have not got the ball to work harder in getting it back & his positional play.
Henrique came on as sub & played very well.
Ferndale Henrique needs to be more aware, he reacts after the ball, lets a defender get the ball first. But his distribution has improved & made a goal.
Cubs, did not get enough time on the pitch because the game wwas so tight, sorry Henrique.

James Dolton

James has had a very good start to the season after playing in goal last year.We have a lot of competition for striker so James needs to keep working hard on shooting, tacking & chasing back.
James worked his socks off this week with a very determined performance well played!
Ferndale a very good game well played. Some very good passes & first touches, must learn to hold off challenges, use his body more something we need to work on.
Cubs, james came on & worked very hard with some good passing, becoming a very clever player. He needed more time on the field but the game was so tight I could not change our system. so sorry james.

Reece Walmsley

Reece top scorer & is on top of his game. But he needs to be aware of what is around him & to pass the ball to a player if they are in a better position. Saying that well done Reece you have had a very good start.
Reece had a good game on Saturday played with determination & was never far away
from the action. well played Reece!
Good to see Grandad Ron at the match we all missed him.
Ferndale Reece may have missed a couple of chances but you have to be there to miss them. Scored a couple of goals & would of got a hat trick but put him in goal. Very good game & solid performance. well played Reece.
Reece used his vision against cubs & passed the ball well. He scored the first goal & is developing into a little star.
